WELCOME TO LITTLE FRIENDS ACADEMY!
Welcome to the Bilingual Kindergarten Little Friends Academy in Poznań, which is located in the center of Dębiec. The kindergarten operates under the patronage of WSHiU Academy of Applied Sciences, which supports the development of the youngest and takes care of their educational future from the first years of life.
Little Friends Academy is a place where we combine a modern approach to education with a warm, friendly atmosphere. We implement our own preschool education program "Żyrafa Ola and Friends", which was created by Polish experts and enriched with elements of bilingualism and modern methods of working with children.
Why Little Friends Academy Preschool ?
OUR METHODS
At our preschool, we implement the early childhood education program “Żyrafa Ola i przyjaciele” (“Ola the Giraffe and Friends”), which complies with the current core curriculum. This program was developed by a Polish team of authors, incorporating proven practices and international experiences. Many specialists were involved in its creation, including experienced preschool teachers, methodologists, advisors, and psychologists. Thanks to this, the program is modern, comprehensive, and fully adapted to the developmental needs of children.
SENSORIC ACTIVITIES
The preschool offers sensory activities, including sensory play and music therapy. Their purpose is to provide information to the child’s brain through all the senses—such as sight, hearing, and touch—which helps facilitate the reception and processing of stimuli, strengthens proper muscle tone, and accelerates and supports speech development.
EXCURSIONS
The places we visit both educate and entertain, while also giving children the opportunity to explore the world and acquire new knowledge. Through excursions, our little ones also have the chance to deepen their understanding of history, geography, and biology. As is well known, learning during trips is more effective.
ENGLISH
At our preschool, English is an integral part of daily activities. Thanks to the language immersion method, children become familiar with English naturally—through play, music, songs, conversations, and daily routines. English accompanies the children during mornings, meals, playtime, and educational activities. Classes are led by qualified teachers who ensure that children learn the language in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Our goal is not only to teach vocabulary but, above all, to build confidence in communication and foster positive associations with the English language from an early age.

Small groups ensure a working pace tailored to each child’s abilities and allow for an individual approach to every student.

HEALTHY MEALS
Our instructors are professionals and graduates of the best universities in Poland. Their passion and experience ensure a unique atmosphere and the smooth running of every class.
We have our own kitchen located in the 4 Seasons restaurant in Poznań, where carefully crafted, healthy, and balanced meals are prepared daily for our little ones. Our dishes are made from fresh, high-quality ingredients without preservatives or artificial additives. We take care not only of taste and nutritional value but also of the individual dietary needs of children—offering dairy-free, gluten-free, and other allergen-free diets in accordance with parents’ and doctors’ recommendations. Our meals support healthy development, promote good eating habits, and are eagerly enjoyed by the children.
NEW BUILDING & LOTS OF ROOM
We have a modern, two-floor building with a dozen spacious classrooms designed with the safety and comfort of our youngest children in mind. The preschool grounds also include a large, private playground equipped with certified equipment, encouraging physical activity, social interaction, and carefree outdoor play.
NEW TECHNOLOGIES
Classes are conducted using an interactive whiteboard, which greatly motivates our young learners to engage in learning and acquire knowledge while naturally absorbing the language.

GRUPS
During daily activities, children learn through play, explore the world with all their senses, and gain new experiences in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere. Preschoolers work in groups divided by age and developmental stage, which supports their individual growth and helps build relationships with their peers.

4 year olds
The youngest group, consisting of three-year-olds, gets to know the preschool in a calm and gentle way, allowing them to safely adapt to the new environment and develop their skills at their own pace.
Four-year-olds develop their independence and learn to cooperate with peers through themed play, early educational tasks, and activities that support creativity and motor skills. This is a time for building self-confidence and joy in discovering the world.
TIGERS
5 year olds
Five-year-olds actively expand their knowledge about the world around them. They develop language, math, and social skills by participating in engaging educational projects, physical activities, and creative art endeavors.
GIRAFFES
6 year olds (zerówka)
Six-year-olds are prepared to start school. We support them in developing school readiness by enhancing concentration, logical thinking, teamwork skills, and independence. Learning takes place in an atmosphere of trust and joy.
