IMPLEMENTED PROGRAM
At our preschool, we implement the early childhood education program “Å»yrafa Ola i przyjaciele” (“Ola the Giraffe and Friends”), which complies with the current core curriculum. This program is based on the idea of learning through play, spontaneous experiences, and children’s natural activity, preparing them for the next educational stage — primary school.

The program was created based on the concept of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), placing strong emphasis on emotional development, empathy, and building relationships founded on mutual respect. The friendly character accompanying the children — Ola the Giraffe — supports them in everyday situations by teaching emotional understanding and cooperation. The program also provides teachers with effective tools to work with children throughout the preschool year.
Why Ola the Giraffe ?
Ola the Giraffe is not just the main character of the early childhood education program — she is a guide who helps children explore the world of emotions, relationships, and values. Her character was chosen intentionally — the giraffe symbolizes empathy, mindfulness, and a kind heart, with its “largest heart among land animals” serving as an inspiration for children to build positive relationships. Thanks to its friendly form and engaging narrative, children eagerly participate in the proposed activities, while teachers gain valuable support in their daily educational work.
